Biography
| Jesse Lee Falls' songwriting is reminiscent of early 70's Funk bands like Earth,Wind and Fire and Tower of Power but has a refreshingly modern appeal like Jamiroquai and The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Jesse incorporates nasty Funk rhythms with Jazz and Rock guitar technicality creating a nice blend of music everyone can enjoy. For the past 2 years Jesse Lee Falls has been performing his original music all over Northern California, Nevada, Oregon and Washington. He has played venues like The Crystal Bay Casino, Seabright Brewery, Lou's Pier 49, JJ's Blues and The Iron Door Saloon. He has had the honor of opening for national acts like Poppa Chubby, Archie Lee Hooker Jr and Little Charlie & The Night Cats. Jesse Lee Falls first solo album released in 2007 has been receiving radio play on KMUN 91.9 FM Astoria Or, WVOF 88.5 FM Fairfield CT., ZRO 106.2 Belgium and UCLA Bruin Radio Los Angeles, Ca. In April of 2008 Jesse began recording his new album at Paradise studios with Craig Long and Kirt Shearer. The album will be released Aug. 1, 2008 in Astoria Or at The Liberty Theater which will kick off a tour of the Northwest. Jesse Lee Falls Live Now, playing as Jesse Lee Falls with Jason Zieba on drums and David Albertson on Bass, the group shows true potential in the Sacramento and San Francisco Bay Area as the kind of band who can move a room full of strangers with funky guitar riffs and soulful dynamics. The group is currently working on an album that is due out in the summer of 2008. A West Coast Tour is scheduled to begin in August of 08. Jesse Lee Falls & The Unified Funk Theory continue to play at venues throughout the Bay area and Sacramento.
